With 35+ years experience, Gavin has an unwavering enthusiasm for realising the creative potential of every project. Gavin created & led the place brand for Regent Street - from 2000, helping The Crown Estate realise the asset value, from unloved thoroughfare to London’s destination for flagship stores, a new commercial district for the capital & sustainable engaging urban environment (way beyond street level). Appointed to brand the central London asset, our strategy plotted the place trajectory - the brand planned for & actively embraced change as it happened - success building success.

This groundbreaking project led to a number of exciting opportunities, including; Sheffield city centre regeneration (The Moor & Heart of the City) for Aberdeen, New River, SCC & Queensberry; Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool for Aberdeen; & Dolphin Square, London for AXA IM.

Our strategy defined the brand hierarchy - creating a manifesto-led brand managing phased change & disruption, running concurrently with a meanwhile brand, supporting ongoing leasing & protecting the balance sheet, eventually transitioning to final place brand, bringing new & re-positioned product to the market.

Canalside art installation

Leading the public art commissioning for Cheyne Capital, responding to Section 106 requirements, we researched, sourced & engaged artists in a competition to design & deliver a piece for a new West London co-living development.

Commissioning selected local Blast Studio, retained project value in the surrounding community & amongst other benefits, the winning piece integrates with the canalside landscaping & planting to enhance the development’s biodiversity credentials.
